Skins series 6 opening title

Screen grab 1 This is a close up shot, more of a personal shot. Containing one characters face. We can understand the characters emotion. 'Relationship. You can slightly see the side of the characters face, you can tell by their appearance that they're teenagers and they're attitude not so serious; however this shot hasn't been taken clearly. The location also looks like it has happened in a night club because of the graffiti on the wall. the shot is almost blurred out this may symbolism the weakness of the relationship.
Screen grab 2 This is a mid shot/social shot to show the characters interaction/relationship. Its yet again obvious that the aim of this TV drama as for teenagers. These teenagers may be the main characters, trapped in different locations. By my own view on this is being stereotypical. From this shot you can see that these boys may be smoking for varies of things it could be to act cool, to act like someone special or dangerous, to get attention, peer pressure or stress. They're appearance looks 'Bad' not off putting to some but to show that they're hard and really do not care about anything bringing a bad influence. Its they're appearance by their hair (doesn't look tidy ) and they're facial expression looks 'mean' and the tattoo on one of the guys hand, Therefore it makes the audience feel intimidating. The characters are sitting down together but it almost looks like the character in red is the leader of the group among them all. Because the character at the end has his head titled down, he looks innocent and makes the audience feel like they can relate to this character because he looks intimidated by they're actions. They may be known as the typical stereotypes 'Druggies' It may be the last but its certainly not the last time they're doing this.
Screen grab 3 The message to the audience from this shot is to simply show how wild teenagers can be. You can slowly start to identify the characters. They are put in different scenes to put the thought of teenagers being the main character in the audience mind. One of the characters seen previously with the same tattoo on his left arm is seen here having a good time with a different group of people. Could this be the main/important character? The typical props are drugs and alcohol. The typical stereotypes from this shot is a theme of drug and alcohol addict, mental health issue. domestic abuse, Cyber bullying etc Could any of these characters have that issue?
Screen grab 4 This is a long shot, giving the viewers the building on where the action will take place, which may be very vital as we can see all of the characters from a close and far distance. Its obvious that in this shot they're all walking to the centre and the camera is placed behind one of the characters to make the audience feel as though they were apart of this group gathering together. So now we can see that these teenagers are the main characters of this TV drama. Their costumes are normal clothes that typical teenagers wear. But mainly of middle class white appearance
Screen grab 5 It all begins to make perfect sense as seen from the previous scene that these teenagers are the main characters the audience will be focusing on. These are the main characters that will bring Drama to the TV. By their appearance they almost all look the same. Nobody is overly dressed or dressed smartly. Instead its more of a unique clothes 'costume' By the location its hard to define but looks like a school, college with different buildings surrounding them. The space is big and it looks like they are literally stood in the middle of no where? This is an establishing shot, and establishing location however what could this mean, perhaps the amount of freedom and space these teenagers bear in their lives. The bottom line is in this shot, Its stereotypical that these are the teenagers that will hit problems get into trouble in life.
